Thanks for the feedback received so far!

As the widespread opinion seems that the banner top is too big and heavy, I'll remove the dragon skull, and add instead a couple of very obvious dragon hornes stuck forming a cross, with a dwarven medallion on the center. I have made a quick mock-up and I agree with a small top it looks much better! :thumright:
The banner and the mohican are separated optional pieces, so if you prefer him wihtout you can just not use them.

Also I will try to provide a couple of alternative weapons , a flail and a mace?

Thanks again!

Any chance the dragon head can be an optional piece as well? I may or may not decide to use it as an actual part of the mini, but if I don't I guarantee it will find a place somewhere in my army; even if it's just scenery or part of a unit filler, or I add it to another standard bearer.

Anyway the more I look at this mini the more I like it, just great detail everywhere. Very cool stuff Felix :) Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Well thought! Sure, will study the possibility of giving it as a loose piece. You can use it for a scenic base as well.

Or even better; you could go about making a skeletal dragon :D. There is a lack of those on the market and I believe you would get quite a few Vampire Counts players interested in the model (everybody seems to hate the GW zombie dragon). It would make sense to have one in an arena as well, seeing as it would be far less likely to try and escape than a living dragon, and it would be a nice "boss level" beast. Please make one felix, pretty please...

Greetings, Felix!
I write seldom, but it is fair. I ask.... No, I demand! Do not touch this bannerpole! You can make an alternative variant, but this should remain in any case.
Miniature grandiose. Very pleased. I speak not only as your fan, but as the seller!

I agree with the others. Keep the current banner pole as an option! It looks awesome!

Guys, if Felix removes the dragon head from the banner but makes it available as a separate piece, you could easily recreate the original banner.
I think it's a shame it covers up the grudge book and the icon.

As ever :D Your miniatures are absolutely amazing. The expression in the face seems the best I ever saw on a dwarf miniature (Could it be that you are a dwarf yourself and just looked into the mirror?? Because of that amazing range of dwarf-minis...)

What I would like are a few funny details like (I don't know what might be on back belt) a keyring with goblin ears as keyring pendants or something like that ^^
And I have an idea why the most people here don't like the standart- maybe because of the chains? They look like something heavy is pulling them down but there are just two (dragon)teeth there. Is the skull of the dragon still "fleshy" and covered with skin? Maybe if it bears more traces of battle like a broken horn (also the dwarf? Like broken teeth or scars)? What about scales?
Yeah, why isn't there any dwarf-smily??

Go on it, Felix! This is the best mini you did so far I think! I am not a dwarf-fan but I would buy it ^^

GO MAD DWARFS, GO GO!

I think that dwarf will be one of my favorite minis ever! Can't wait to see it finished and to have it in my hands. I like that big dragon skull and I'm glad that it will be added as an option.
Could you give us some new pics of that mini?
And most importand - when it will be put on sale?

I have to say that I disagree about the Dragon skull banner. I think the piece is perfect and it doesn't look too big. I would still like to have the standard just as the green stands now.

I think that the composition of the whole miniature, including the banner looks absolutely amazing. In my opinion the grudge book is also a great idea, showing all foes how much grudges he let acquit his enemys ... combined with the big skull this is just getting more exciting (the ex-dragon could have been his archfiend) ... But I think it needs more characteristic details, letting him look like a special character (with background story) ... maybe something like troll eyes, dangling on their optic nerve (on his belt on his backside)...

Maybe a more scarred look would also be great... an ugly healed wound on his shoulder or something akin...

I think two axes are cool but often seen ... though dwarfs also have many war-hammers in their history, told of... so i think i would like to see a runic war-hammer in ONE of his hands and an axe in the other....

Although it is "just" a WIP, i think this is getting one of your greatest minis ever made before ... and i would really enjoy to see more dwarfs, designed by you felix, I think you have the ability to demonstrate more of the "dwarf-race-soul" than all the other companys.

Kind regards, Corvidaes
