Not to be negative, but don't hold your breath for any WIP pics. Concept art minis aren't shown on this site until finished. No matter how much we complain.

I have given up asking for pics.

Have you ever noticed that people who start their sentences with: "Not to be negative..." or some phrase like that always do exactly that which they proclaim don't want to do?

But not entirely it seems...

In any case, WIP pics for this model are not shown because Felix didn't sculpt this model.
WIP pics are generally only provided on models Felix sculpts himself.
IF he finds the time.
WIP pics are a bonus this company gives its forum attendees.
Felix has a LOT of work sculpting models, laying out CR's, updating the Band maker, keeping this site running...
All of these tasks are more time consuming then you think.
Felix could make the time to take the WIP pics but it would delay the actual mini.
And you'd have something else to complain about.
As such we at Avatars of War have to prioritize our tasks.
Believe me when I say Felix works extremely hard.
And remember:
Patience is a virtue.

Let me just say that we really do listen to your requests and suggestions and are happy when they are given. The Warpriest and the Dwarf Lord of Chaos are prime examples of that.
Of course we can't make everyone happy but at least we listen and try.

Thios forum seems to have forgotten were talking about an elf here. i would just like to add that i think as an option the casting arm in the dark elf sorceress or something similar. i have done a simple yet effective conversion using a GW horse tail to look as if she if throwing flames from her palm. will post pics when painted. all spell casting models should have a hand like this for such conversions. just my opinion. hope they put it in other wise i may have to steal one from another model or go crazy with the putty

Just a comment and not sure how this will go over but I miss the old ideal of elves being very good at creating the super fine minthril armor. May be if you do a elf warrior next time use a lit of fine chain mail with some plates over it. I think a mage would also be suited for some chain mail and less plate as they are supposed to be slightly weaker. Just a little design feedback for future use. You know I love everything you do and only comment to try and help.

I don't want to hustle you Felix, but it would be really nice to see some pics of the upcoming light elf mage or the minotaur lord before you release them... Because I think, in the case, that you release them without showing the community some pre-views of the miniature, your abiding costumers, and fans will react in a way, they did when you released the vampire countess... And I think this was a negative overreaction for a really good miniature... AoW is known to be close to the costumers and in my opinion this is something that no company should lose.

...But I really dont want to criticize your way of working... because I am also a big fan of it...
