Posting a pic: Internet Explorer

To post a pic, you have to know its internet address: "http://www.domain_name.com/ .... /image_name.jpg"

Then click Img button, write the image address, click Img button again. You should see something like this:
"Image"

If you do not know the image address, but you can see the image on your Internet Explorer, right click the image and display image properties. Copy the image URL address.
Then click the "Img" buton on the post topic window
Paste the copied image URL
Remove from the pasted URL anyhting that appears after the image extension (which typically is ".jpg")
click [img] again, and that's it! :)

Does anyone know how to do this in other internet browsers? (I only use IE).

I know that the Yahoo browser works exactly the same way as IE does, so no problems there.

For Firefox you have 2 choices to find the image address ( the rest is just the same) you can right click on an image and select properties (at the bottom of the menu) the address will be displayed in the location slot. Or the easiest way is just to select copy image location (3rd choice down on the menu) from the menu.

Then just follow the rest of Felix's instructions.

I can really recommend http://www.photobucket.com please don't use imageshack as it takes a very long time to load your images on the forum compared to photobucket.

Helpful thread for many people, I myself am a ember of several forums and knew this already, but this is a common question asked at many places.

Good thread Felix.

I too suggest Photobucket. Quick and really easy to load and no annoying pop ups
