Today is the start of a new project - "The Warriors of Apoc". So I begin with with 20 bases and prepare them.
Image
First of all wash the resin parts in soap-water.
Image
Let them dry and ready for priming.

First painting steps are done. Primed everything with the Airbrush in VMA(71056)black grey and dry-brushed smoothly with VMC(155)light grey.

The bases are really cool.
Looking forward to see the warriors standing on them! :thumright:

Will you post a step by step (assembling the minis, painting, ...)?

Yes! But just for one (or two: trooper and the champion) model in detail. The entire regiment will be similar.

ps.
to admin: Could you please move the thread to "Heroes for your Armies: Painting & modeling". I think this is more the right place in the forum.

This sounds very interesting, is more still to come or was this thread continued somewhere else?
Ive been on the edge about the sprues and overall composure of the Warriors of the Apoc for months.
I was hoping that this project would enlighten me on most things.

cheers

I suppose HaWior hasn't received his box yet, because of the big cue we have, but will receive them soon.
BTW, HaWior which day did you pay for your pre-order (so I can take a look and see when you'll receive them).

@synapris
Hello synapris as Gaelion mention I haven't got the miniatures yet. Thats why the project stuck a little. I did just a few things on the bases. You don't have to worry to miss any step. All steps will be posted here and on my blog. But you are right I could show the changes.

@Gaelion
Lastly I check the pre-order. It will dispatch 05.06.2012.
Placed order on 10.02.2012.

Apocalypse has arrived. The Regiment Warriors of Apocalypse are here. Thanks to Felix. Guess he helped a little. :)
They are great!!! Superb models. Almost no flash, NO BUBBLES!, no cutting form sprues and none plastic waste you have to throw away.

The models look fantastic. Sharp and crispy details. A lot of parts that makes your models versatile.

Made a lot of pictures. So you know what you get in one box.

20 bodies (5 different x4)

20 heads (20 different)

20 right arms (5 different x4)

20 right arm weapons (5 different x4)

They DO exist!

I was starting to wonder!

Really enjoy the pics, it looks like a great set. Are the bodies and legs are inter-changable?

Sure! Just put them together as you like. They just come in this position.

Nice indeed. With this level of detail I am truly looking forward to AoW's Apocalypse Dwarfs for my Chaos Dwarf army. The Dwarf Lord of Chaos is already waiting for 'em. Let's see those Warriors assembled and painted!

Fantastic!! Any chance of getting pix of the arms and weapons from the other sets? The pix you have given would work nicely at the time of initial offering. A picture says a thousand words. I believe it would have increased your sales. I am extremely happy i preordered these!!!
Keep up the great work! :applause:
