Hello!

First off, I gotta say I was excited by the news of the last regiment box, and I must say I love the looks of the Apoc warriors for sure. Great work

Now, in the original forum thread about the releases of 2012, Gaelion mentioned that Avatars of War planned to release a new regiment box every two months.

So, my question is, will there be a new regiment box out in April? And is there any chances to get a little sneaky inside-information about what kind of regiment it would be?

Well, I know there will be 3 more types of apoc warriors to fit in with the othe chaos gods so it would make sense for them to be next in line since they should require less work.

Might be delayed a little since there is such high demand for the first lot of Apoc Warriors. There are still a lot of preorders that aren't out the door yet..

Where did you get the idea that there were going to be 3 more chaos warrior units for each specific chaos god? I highly doubt that statement.

I'm trying to find where Felix mentioned it (or if.. I could be mistaken there) and not been successful, the key is that the warrior unit has (war faction) at the end of their listing. There are 4 factions. Again, my memory may not be correct that its been confirmed all will be released, but it would be a pretty good bet. Discussions all happened a while ago, best I can find now is this;

What we really need is a unit of Chaos dwarves designed after the Dwarf Lord of Chaos. GW refuses to make Chaos dwarf models. Forgeworld takes up the mantle but has stated that they will make all kinds of Chaos dwarf pieces BUT NO ACTUAL CHAOS DWARF WARRIORS! And BTW, those Dwarf slaves unit doesn't count. I really don't get it. There is a serious need for a basic, chaos dwarf unit. Please give it to us Felix!!!!

ZILLA, you made to to change my mind! I totally agree with you. But i think, that next regiment will be with elfs or men.

We are now focused on the Hordes of Apocalypse season, so for a while all regiments and heroes will be for Apoc.

We are very behind sending Apoc Warriors preorders so next WarCast box (although it is now sculpted) has been pushed (we can't release a new box as this would make the cue simply unbearable!).

We are already working to expand our production capacity for WarCast (that is, buying another WarCast casting machine

), but the equipement takes around 40 days to be built once ordered, then has to be shipped to here, we have to hire another operator ... so it might still take a while before we can catch up!

There are plans for warriors of all 4 factions and also for a unit of Apoc Dwarfs, but I don't know which ones will be for this 1st Apoc season (not all of them sadly).

That sounds very exciting, thanks for the info Felix!

I keep thinking about ordering another box of Apoc warriors, but since I still have to wait a week or two for my preordered box to ship I figure I might as well hold off for a bit. It will be good for everyone when your expanded production is in place! Good luck with it.

@ Felix: maybe you can design the chaos dwarfs in special way? I mean, maybe you can make chaos dwarfs and on that base with some special bits it will be possible to build “normal” dwarfs. :drool:

Something like same legs, same body’s but different heads, weapons… I think, that would be possible with WarCast and a great reason for a lot of people to buy that :cheers:

The idea is certainly intriguing, but after all I am against it. I want Dwarfs and Apoc Dwarfs to be very distinct. That includes the armor.
