I tried looking, but couldn't find anything about this.

I've started reading the rulebook and playing around a bit with the cardmaker, in the hopes of eventually convincing a friend or two to try out the game.

I've run into a problem though. If I understand the rulebook correctly, if I make a band under the Göllnir faction, I should be able to take allies who follow Rayviel and Elythrias, right? But the cardmaker allows no such thing - it will only validate bands consisting purely of dwarf avatars.

Is this a bug? Some way to fix it? Are allies simply not implemented yet?

Another, smaller question, is it allowed to take multiples of the same kind of avatar, for example two thunderlords in one band?

The list of allies has been updated since the rulebook pdf to better reflex the background, and the cardmaker works with the updated lists, so in effect Dwarfs can't get allies, they are a pretty closed race.

On each type of Avatar, on the base card, "To field" shows how many Avatars of that type you can recruit. You con get 2 or 3 for most of the types, and with the immense personalization options they can be completely different.
