Time to prepare a model.
First, parts were cut off from the molding process. But don't throw this parts away. We can use them. For a better accessibly I did not glue all parts together. Just the right arm with the weapon and the torso with the legs. As you see on the picture above the cutoff-part of the shield is split into two parts and glued on the arms. This makes it easier to hold them while painting. No need to touch the work all the time. After the paint job is done this pin will be cut off. When all the parts come together no one will see it. The reason why this is done. Because if the shield-arm is put on before painting, its hard to reach parts of the body.

Lets get black priming...

Cool thanks for the pics so far! I'm looking forward to seeing them with paint on them.

Does this mean they are all starting to ship so mine should ship soon?

Indeed! Many boxes are shipping daily.
The WarCast production is now pretty much stablished. We hired two full time persons and a got a new casting machine, so now WarCast production is composed of three full-time persons, two casters with a machine each one and a WarCast only dedicated mouldmaker.

We could still benefit from another caster & machine, but further investment is not possible until Apoc warriors are almost 100% shipped and we can release more WarCast boxes.

Just a quick update on the progress. I am still testing to find the right color schema. I am close to it whats in my mind. My try is to match close to the Warthrone of Saga logo colors. Its a mix of green, blue, black and turquoise in.

Cool! You definitely have captured the Warthrone logo color!
Watch out they don't turn too flashy looking though.

Really looking forward to more! :thumright:

So, HaWior... :bleh: Are you planning on using the battle standard when your squad is finished? Or the other left hand that comes with the command parts?

Because upon closer inspection of the bits in the box, you have no handless left arms. As a matter of fact, you have no shieldless left arms, so chopping a hand off isn't really an option, unless you're a very talented sculptor.

You are absolutely right Toxicmushroom. I don't know what to do. First I have to finish one model to get a sample miniature. Maybe I can use one of the smaller Shield, chop off the hand and mount the banner. So he will have a weapon a shield and the banner.

Have you been painting more minis? I'd love to see some more progress!

I hope I didn't take the wind out of your sails.

Me too!

BTW, now I don't remeber if I told we are sending three extra left arms to those who had their weapon/shield boxes already shipped?
