Hi there
Here is my first proud (and angry) warrior of my starting Arena-carrier. Other minis will follow in the next time

Now with some professionel photos:

To be totally honest, the painting is not my own work. I gave it to a profesionell painter. My plan is to start a AoW-Community in Berlin and I think with professionel painted mini it is a little bit easier to get some interest from some gamers

Thanks for the feedback
The gore affect on the mini looks live much better than on the photos. On the photos I have to admit, that it looks more like some red sugar icing.
I didn´t found the right technique to make realistic photos of minis. Maybe I have to build a photo-box as I have seen in another forum
But thanks for the tutorial anyway, I will try it out on some other miniatures I paint myself.

An extremely nice paint job!
Love the saliva in the mouth, that is a very nice touch and give a lot of character to the model!

Really looking forward to see other minis from your warband! :thumright:

Although the forum is quite silence ( I hope it just because of the heat or the holidays), I post another warrior of my little warband.

This mini is also not painted by myself.

Thanks for the feedback. Ialso was totally happy with the "special effect" in the mouth. In Live and 3D it even looks more impressive. My painter showed me how to do it and so I tried it own my own humble pantings and it gives even my minis some more character.

Looks really good. Love specially the eye, make shim look alive!

Any chance of a picture where we can see the model entirely?

Thanks for the feedback, I will hand it over to the painter
@ Complete picture of the miniatur
I am working on it, right now my camera has some problem to focus on the mini. Maybe its the background, that it is too white.
I found some more neutral background on the blog of Jarhead, maybe this will work better. I will try it tomorow.
Ciao

Are you using the macro option?

Yes and no.
I tried it with and without the macro and these fotos were the only which were nearly sharp.
I will try it with some better lights tomorrow after my night-shift.
The sun isn´t so strong to that point in my flat, maybe it works better that way.

After a short break here is my next avatar, the dwarf lord. the painting is quite close to the picture in the blister. So the range of colours is limitated, but I think its fits wonderful to the miniature with its waiting and focused position

Uh, nice Necro, I love the skin and the face, very good.
The Dwarf is also nice, but maybe I would have added a second color to the armor parts, especially on shoulder and wrists, but that's all.

Yup you might be right.
One central element with a strong colour might have given the miniatur a stronger contrast. Maybe the beard could have been an option. But I told my painter, that he can use the drawings as the template and he made a 1:1 work. I think the other dwarfs will get bloodier and with a bigger range of colours

Very nice minis. I love the blood effect on the barbarian axe. Its a bit sad that you did not paint the minis yourself ;) . But anyway they´re looking very nice.
