First of all i´d like to say hello to everyone as i am completely new here.
I am 31 years old an i m from Germany. Up to date i play Infinity, Alkemy and Anima Tactics... and i have always sworn to myself that i won´t start a fourth game. But well now i m here because i could not resist these absolute fantastic miniatures and after reading the rules for the first time i cant wait to play my first game against southeaven on friday. The rules sound really great in theory and i m curious how they´ll work out in a real game as they do not seem to be too easy and a little bit more complicated :D
But i guess if we have any questions we are in good hands here in the forum.

Okay and it is also the first time i started building game terrain before i even played a test game. And here is a first wip pic of my arena, it is 25x25 inch and will have a moat around the middle. The water effect will be added in a next step. Also there are some statues, entrance gates, water spouts and some more little details to do. And of course the whole walls are still to be made.

Hope you like it.

Looks like a really great arena in the making. I really should get round to getting mine started... :?

What did you use to get that texture on the arena floor?

Welcome Schlunz!

Wow! Looks just great! Very very promising.
Will be a real pleasure to see how it progresses!

The blood looks real! I specially like the one that flows in between two tiles and the splahes are so realistic :hack:

Thanks for posting such a cool wip!

Wow! Those statues look simply great. This is starting to look like it's going to be awesome stuff! Out of curiosity, where are the statues from?

Now that I better see the water I really like it as well, the effect is very well achieved.

Totally looking forward to see next the next update!

Glad you like it :D

I can´t tell you from where the statues are from because they were a present from a friend. But i´ll ask him next time i see him.

Next update will come this evening as i nearly completed four statue columns.

I think the statues are either from http://www.thomarillion.de or http://www.ziterdes.de

Wow, extremely impressing! Keep it up.
Is the blood effect achieved with a toothbrush?

@ Mazer: No the blood was "normally" painted with a brush. But a toothbrush will give some good effects too if used carefull.

Here is the next update:
Finished the 4 statues which will give some cover in the open arena :damaged:
I guess its time to start the outer walls soon...
