I'm wondering the same thing about the smilodon. The green they used to have up was a beaut! My favorite looking pit beast 2 date. I hope he comes out sometime soon. :drool:

Would love to hear some news regarding the Vampire Queen. Maybe just a rundown of the options you are going with like you gave us with the Minotaur. Otherwise if your still looking for suggestions and feedback:

I like what you have so far other then that i'd really like a more feminine un-helmeted head, some hand options like perhaps spell casting, licking blood off a finger or something along those lines. The bat hanging from the model is a nice touch too. I like the sword you've come up with in the picture but i think its too epic for a generic model, as you stated. Perhaps something thin and slender, a rapier maybe? Nothing says classy lady like a rapier in one hand and licking blood off her fingertip with the other.

The two handed sword was already sculpted and will be used for a future "celebrity Avatar" miniature. We thought it was too "special" for a generic vampire. The helmeted head might be kept as well for that one (havestill to decide on that).

All AoW minis are classed as 'over the top' or should I say "Epic!'- it's in there brief

I am sorry but why can't we ever see a green image of these non-Felix figures. I feel like we get to see the concept drawing, never see a work in progress, give suggestions, and it ends up looking exactly like the artwork. I get all hyped up for Avatars of war. :bounce:

But I just anticipate another disappointment. I didn't like the necromancer or dragon queen minis. They really needed to be modified and could have been so much better. :fireball:

Anyway, we'll see....
But I am not holding my breath for the vampire queen mini...sorry. :vampire2:

Just a small note, this mini is no longer a Vampire Queen.
She's a "Countess" now, or something to that effect.

Some design elements, most noticably the sword,
will be saved for a future mini, which will be a Queen.

That said, I am (im)patiently awaiting both this mini,
and the future Vampire Queen.

I need this model and very badly. I've got me some vampire counts army in the works and this will be a wonderful leader.
