Amazing. That could either be used as a dire wolf or a chaos hound in warhammer, make sure some huge gaping, sewn wounds show on it so it can represent either dead, weary (but alive) or mutated versions of a beast. Some piercings would be great as well. Rather not a collar though. Maybe leather straps /small armour plating around a leg/shoulder or something. And keep a possibility open for it to have a rider, i'm not asking for a saddle or weird connections things, keep it pure, but don't obscure it's back too much.

Looks pretty good thus far but I am not sure I would say that was a wolf's head. Don't get me wrong it looks really powerful and fierce, wolves heads are just no tthat heavy. Their snouts are actually very slim and long compared to the fighting breeds of dogs. I would say that looks an awful lot like an American Pit bull... Which would probably tear a timber wolf to shreds.

We are not aiming for a realistic wolf, the concept behind it is making a wolf as much monstrous as possible but without getting ridiculous. It is as well bigger than a normal wolf, and with the main aggresive features exxaggerated, teeth, claws, curved back, ...

If you throw a "common" wolf into an arena with about 10 Avatars of War around it, first thing it will do is putting its tail between its legs and run as far away as possible!!! :) That or be totally chopped! :hack:

Yes, it is going to have scars around, broken chains, ...

It is a very good idea, I have indeed thought of the possibility of sculpting later a goblin riding a conversion of the wolf...

Oh I am sure it will be fantastic.

Besides I am not one to let a little thing realistic accuracy curb my artistic expression.

Just this time tell Raul to box it in a big wooden crate.... Yeh let's see them " lose " that one.

That is one of the scariest wolf faces I've seen for a long time! can't wait to see the scale of it.
(did anyone ever see the film 'The Never Ending Story', when I was little that wolf used to scare the hell out me  )

why not in the future have a "were wolf" type hero with 2 forms, this being one of them with the ability to change during the fight

I like were beasts! But they would be fantastic as audience beasts...
Fight propperly or face the hairy ones!

Edit: and I don't mean dwarfs ;)

This is very cool concept, however I would prefer shaping to a humanoid wolf, not a complete wolf. I for sure write down this!

I love it! The pose is fantastic, and it looks very fierce ...

Fantastic! :)

I pity that dog ... I can just tell that cat is secretly a ninja waiting for the opportune moment ...
