Hi!

Image

With our upcoming wargame, Warthrone, round the corner, Avatars of War has switched from doing only heroes, to developing full fantasy armies.

AoW is still a small company and developing a full fantasy army is a very big project. Thanks to the development of the WarCast medium, we can create multipart plastic regiments with a very reasonable investment, however, our investing capability allows us to sculpt and produce only a small fraction of what would be a totally complete Dwarf army.

We have created the Dwarf Army funding campaign with the goal of being able to create and release an awesome & complete full Dwarf Army!

If you'd like to help us with the Dwarf Army project check out the Dwarf Army funding campign at Indiegogo.com here:
http://www.indiegogo.com/aow-dwarfs?a=586327

Thanks so much!
Felix

Hello Felix!

You were quicker than my thought of a funder project. :)

one major Question:
Do we have to take dwarf models for the perks or can we also choose form the new chaos range. (or other coming ranges) Because I am no so a big fan of dwarves. I mean I like your models. You are doing the nicest Dwarf Miniatures, but I am not attracted to this little man.

second:
Is it Ok if i put, as long at it goes, a banner from the indiegogo project on my blog. (if i get to know how  )

Thank you Felix!

All the Best
Michael

Thanks so much for the offer of putting the banner. I have done this one for Warseer ad, so definitely use it if you like it. If you do your own one please post it here, I'd definitely like to see it.

About the perk, yes you can chose from the Apoc range. This will be released from next month on, and pricing will be the same through all ranges.

Thanks again!

You're welcome. But oops, I just realized that instead the Dwarf Noble is not listed at all. :erm:

The $190 pledge gives me 100 figures.
Can I do multiples of this pledge?
Is it possible to increase my pledge later if it looks like goodies such as the valkyries become likely?

The amount of Avatars of War Dwarf Army funding campaign is 20,000$, but some miniatures need over 50,000. Will we ever see them in the future, if you don't reach 50,000 amount?

And when will you show us new done and sculpted miniatures (they are marked ad [PLANNED]? I'd like to pay 190$ not only for concept-arts ;)

They wold get done, but in several waves and in a long lapse of time in between. The further we reach the more will get done in a single wave.

I am now in full Apoc season sculpting Apoc troops. The sculpting of dwarfs starts in July. The campaign will by then be over, so no greens will be shown during the campaign.
The idea is, take a look at AoW already sculpted dwarfs, take a look at the concept art and think of how the future sculpts can look when/if they get done.

Not shabby at all, but wouldn't it be better to end the fundraising campaign in August? That gives it two months to go and possibly work in progress pictures of dwarf greens would attract even more interest.

Best of luck, by the way.

And 1 more thing. I really think, that tours idea isn't so good, It's too expensive. I think it would be better to give discount cards, or may be limited edition miniatures. for example "pledge 250$ and you will get 100 dwarf army + 30% discount for any 10 AoW miniatures, which you can buy and get right now". Give people addition miniatures and wide choise, or make an artbook. Tours... I'd like to, but too expencive. I think 95% of AoW buyers will agree with me

I don't think that's true. First off all, 50 figures for 110€ (incl. shipping) is still OK, if you compare it to a certain other manufacturer. And secondly, this is still a fundraiser! The idea is basically to pay more than usually, otherwise AoW would not raise any money!
