What started as a part-time personal project, has been shaping into something much bigger than I would have ever expected
The recent times have made it very clear that our current infrastructure is totally insufficient to meet in a timely manner the demand of AoW miniatures. I am very glad to announce that to that end, AoW is moving to a brand new & bigger location, with bigger offices and a bigger studio. And what is the main reason for moving, with our own casting facility to move production of the miniatures in-house, allowing us to grow our production capability to a much bigger size!
Finally, the new premises have also a pretty big gaming area
, where we plan to do in the future open events for Arena DeathMatch like tournaments, ...
All in all it is a very exciting move for us!
The downside, is that we'll be pushing the release of new figures until we are totally set up in the new premises and the new in-house casting facility is up & running. I believe this will take close to two months time.
Current and standing orders will be served as usual, if we run out of stock of a model before the in-house casting starts, we'll remove that model from the online shop. This means that only orders for models in stock will be accepted, so they will be served pretty fast. Of course once we start casting in-house all items will be very soon back in stock.
ALL pending pre-orders (Thunderlord and Goblin King) will have shipped by next week (most of them have already shipped).
We still have to decide if pushing the release of Arena DeathMatch as well, but as printing of the rulebook is done by an external printer the move does not affect the game release so much.
This is a very important step in our plans for the future of AoW, as otherwise AoW could simply not grow any further!
